As I prepare to open up my third Positive and empowering Gymnastics & Ninja Academy in Columbia, Md. I figured that I’d test the waters at age 47, to see if I still “Got It”… These communities I’ve opened my gyms for, are for parents/kids who are wanting a safe and healthy environment to grow, get stronger, become more confident and empowered in! Every kid matters!! #dominiquedawes #dawesgymnastics ##olympics2024 #sweatingandsmiling
Wow! You definitely do still have it. At very soon-to-be 46 I'm pretty sure I'd have multiple injuries if I tried to sprint again! 😅 Way to hold it down for our generation. Thank you for the environments you provide for children to grow. Still a champion! 🙌🏾 🥇
Wow! You definitely still have it! I love the impact you’re making in the communities in Maryland🌟
Wayment.. u still out here flippin'? I hurt myself flippin channels the other day
I was a competitive gymnast, I’m 10 years younger, and my back hurts watching this. I salute you because this is incredible. 🫡 I’m not sure I could even do the first round off anymore.
You do, so amazing. I am still running sprints as a Masters Track and Field Athlete at 63. I have been running for 32 years. Keep going
So happy for you! Had a serious serious crush on this woman when she competed at the Olympics. Congratulations queen God bless all your dreams and endeavors
My boys love to climb and jump. Is there a parkour or American ninja style camp session in the ninja academy? So excited to check it out.
You still have it and make it look easy!!!!
We are just moving our little Ninja Academy here in Bangkok to a bigger and better space! The summer Ninja League competition is sold out and we couldn’t be more excited! #peacethroughsports PS You continue to inspire!

1moI can't believe there will be your gym in my town! I love that you mentioned safety and health. I have athletic kids but their training never included injury prevention/precaution. My kids were dreaming to be top athletes some day but kept pushing too hard until their injuries went too far and they could no longer train due to injury. I hope your gym brings a new culture of safety first and injury management/prevention. I really wish I knew more about that as a mom. Thank you for the inspiring post!
