Today marks the beginning of World Autism Acceptance Week, starting with Autism Acceptance Day on 2 April. Since the United Nations General Assembly designated 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) in 2007, the United Nations has observed the day to promote the full realisation of all human rights and fundamental freedoms for autistic people on an equal basis with others. However, over time, the focus has shifted from 'awareness' to 'acceptance.' At Black Scorpion Karate, we are more than just a club; we are a family. Some of our staff members, students, friends, and family members are autistic, and they enrich our lives and teach us valuable lessons both inside and outside the dojo every single day. As we begin this week of acceptance and understanding, let us reaffirm our commitment to embracing everyone for who they are. We believe that everyone has a place in our dojo, and we honour and respect everyone's journey. Let us celebrate Autism Acceptance Week with #Inclusion #KarateFamily #Diversity #Respect #Acceptance.

World Autism Awareness Day is a vigorous reminder of the significance of embracing, comprehending, and embracing everyone. As we mark World Autism Awareness Day, let's not only spread awareness but actively strive to establish an inclusive atmosphere where every voice finds its place and every message is clear. At #sawatech, we acknowledge the transformative power of communication, particularly in the #medical field. Our #translation services in this sector go beyond literal translations. We take pride in contributing to spreading awareness about autism in over 120 languages, helping bridge understanding on how to address this condition. By coming together as a global community, we can create a more inclusive and supportive world for individuals with autism and their families. Let's spread acceptance and understanding today and every day. #WorldAutismAwarenessDay #AutismAcceptance #translation #localization #medicaltranslation #sawatech

July is Disability Pride Month! Let's talk about Deaf Culture! Did you know that people who are Deaf do not have inner dialogues? Many people do report imagining the signing of what they are thinking visually in their head when they are talking or thinking to themselves. Did you know that despite ASL being the 6th most widely used language in the United States that it is NOT a recognized language in the US and we only have 3 Deaf Colleges in the entire US? There are only 2 International colleges for Deaf students. Did you know that there is a difference between Deaf and deaf? Check out the differences below.
