Shocking. Skills Shortages. In other news, skills shortages/deficits have already existed. Decades ago, the NHS expanded their recruitment policy of medical staff to include overseas jurisdictions. But, employers have always exercised the choice of ignoring an investment in CPD for existing staff, and to provide sponsorship/placements for college/university students. Otherwise, it may be presumed that skills shortages/deficits are only ever an existential threat to a business.
