If your Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts aren’t accessible, you’re excluding Disabled People. That is selective inclusion. That is creating inaccessible barriers. That is hollow words written in inaccessible ink. Let’s accelerate inclusive, accessible change together, transforming your branding/marketing, recruitment and workplace cultures. Text reads, “When your inclusion isn't accessible you forget the "I" in DEI”. Below the words, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion appear, but each starting letter has been transformed into a character with hands and legs. Text continues, “Inclusion without accessibility is exclusion”. Below the D and E character are standing at one side of the plank weighing it down, and I is up in the air. The text concludes, “Don’t let your inclusion be hollow words written in inaccessible ink.” #DisabilityPrideMonth #ThursdayThoughts #Branding #DiversityEquityAndInclusion

I've noticed (though not in your case thankfully) that those who practice the way of DEI, really don't celebrate Autism. In fact, all they care about is certain demographics and a certain psychographic. They also possibly aren't Autistic, thus not celebrating the Autistic communities because of this. That's why I actually agree with this post. Now I wouldn't have a problem with the way of DEI, if people actually included everyone in terms of celebrating their culture.

Honestly, I think this needs to be louder for those at the back! I've seen sooooo much content on here that's inaccessible content, and this includes from people working in the DEI sector!!! Disabled By Society Thank you for always championing the most important A.I of all, accessibility and inclusion!
