🔱 If as a First Responders leader you are serious about improving the overall wellness of First Responders you need to understand these things………………….. The most critical, most crucial, HUGE component of a First Responder’s wellbeing is their FINANCIAL WELLNESS. 🚫I don’t mean, do they have a pension or 401k? That’s not THRIVING that’s just bare minimum survival. 🔱 I mean, do they and are they using the resources to acquire cashflowing assets that they control. 🔱 I mean, are they bringing in additional income to remove financial insecurity and financial stress that also doesn’t require them to sacrifice their wellness working extra shifts or off-duty work. A First Responder who has real Financial Wellness... has the resources to improve all other aspects of their lives ‼️ All of us who have served as First Responders, even for one day, know there will be incredibly stressful traumatic experiences. There has been a movement to bring more and more emphasis to improving the wellness of First Responders. Unfortunately... many of the wellness solutions proposed, require individuals to have a lot of extra money to invest in what's suggested and to also have the free time to take action doing them. A First Responder who has disposable income can afford to invest in themselves ...and DO the wellness work. They can Improve their health both mentally and physically. Improve their relationships with friends and family. Have the resources to directly support projects within their community or church.
