The Decarbonisation team is a group of subject matter experts that work with clients across all sectors to understand, and reduce, their impact on climate change. In this role, you will: * collaborate closely with our clients to unpack the sustainability-related business risks and opportunities relevant to their net zero journeys; * support creation of an auditable baseline by quantifying scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions; * develop strategies and utilise technology for monitoring, reporting and forecasting GHG emissions; * set ambitious, but achievable, decarbonisation targets in line with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and other leading practices; *develop roadmaps for GHG emission reductions by identifying abatement opportunities, their associated costs and understanding the challenges clients face in implementing solutions (with a focus on scope 3 emissions); *connect decarbonisation activities to regulatory requirements and ensure a future audit-proof data set.
