🎉 FUN SATURDAY VIDEO 🎉
When we learned one of our producers hadn't been skydiving, our team made sure he had a session at iFly and caught the whole thing on camera. Don't let your team member's bucket list pass you by! 😎 #teambuildinghttps://lnkd.in/gCRusrUZ
When "Her" first came out, it was seen as a great work of science fiction. But now, 10 years later, it's starting to seem like the movie was more accurate than we thought it would be. The idea of an operating system with advanced AI that can interact with humans on a deep, emotional level seemed far-fetched. Yet, with the rise of virtual assistants and the advancements in AI, we are closer to this reality than ever before. #AI#VirtualAssistants#ScienceFiction

If you were wondering when AI would officially be MainStage look no further. Here is the new film by Zemeckis which worked with Metaphysic.ai using their generative AI de-aging technology on Tom Hanks.

Usually, my weekends are all about chores—cleaning, cooking, laundry. But coming up is a long weekend and I've got something exciting planned—I'm watching "Her."
Sam Altman (CEO, OpenAI) recently mentioned this movie while talking about the new model of GPT-4o.
In "Her," we're captivated by the intimate bond between a writer and his AI companion, sparking a whirlwind of emotions and existential questions. Similar to ChatGPT's latest upgrades, we will be witnessing a real-life exploration of AI's potential to engage and understand us on a deeply personal level. The latest upgrades to ChatGPT promise to enhance its ability to comprehend and respond to human emotions and nuances, allowing for more meaningful and personalized interactions.
I'm particularly eager for this cinematic experience because it offers a fresh perspective on the capabilities of modern AI and its potential impact on our lives.

So, I'm watching Karl Kapp's video on playing games with ChatGPT and it me thinking about the application of this in the corporate training environment.
Things to think about:
1) Most companies, as far as I know, do not allow their internal process documentation with their knowledge base to be ingested by LLMs.
2) IF you are in the lucky situation where your IT department has implemented an internal LLM (protected from the outside world), then you're in a good position to test out AI in corporate training.
3) Do you know anyone in your IT department to get the answer to #2?
Do you have an IT Buddy? If not, you need to FIND YOUR IT BUDDY! (Say it like CRUSH in Finding Nemo)

AI, a hot topic now.
Available to watch on ABC iView, a film called Her, made in 2010, set in near future LA, explores AI and human interaction, for those interested worth a look.

ChatGPT has just about had it with your empty bonus and tips promises.
This is almost certainly a spoof post, but a fun reminder of the sometimes weird and emergent behaviors of LLMs in response to oddly human prompts.

I am amazed that smart "amateurs" using AI are able to do a much better job of restoring footage from the 1920s than many heavily subsidised public archives. Take this film restored by Rick888888 shot in the beach resort of Scheveningen near the Hague. How does he do it? "A lot of historic film material has been digitized with outdated scanners, resulting in wobbly, faint and blurry footage. Nowadays a lot can be achieved as regards enhancing such footage by means of sophisticated software tools, including Artificial Intelligence. This involves motion-stabilisation, speed correction, contrast, brightness and sharpness enhancement, noise reduction, dust and speckle removal, and upscaling to HD with A.I. and recently even colourization!"
I find the colour adds depth to the scenes.
Personally, I think a lot of sound and vision archives should be tapping the expertise of the public instead of arrogantly doing it themselves, often at great public expense. https://lnkd.in/eXknZZJQ
Does the world of AI sometimes feel like it's moving too fast, making it hard to keep up? If you're looking for someone to help slow things down and make sense of it all, look no further!
🤝 I'm here to be your guide in the dynamic world of AI – think of me as your own version of Quicksilver. While I may not have his super-speed (or his impressive head of hair) I do share his ability to make a fast-moving world seem a bit slower and more understandable.
🔍 As your AI ally, I'm ready to listen, understand your unique mission challenges, and provide clear, focused guidance on how Azure AI can enhance your mission's efficiency and effectiveness.
👓 Just like Quicksilver in two of my favorite movie scenes, I'll help you navigate through the complexities of AI in a way that feels like we've slowed down time - giving you the clarity and confidence you need.
