Connecting Travel, A Reflection!
It was a pleasure to speak to Sarah Hedley Hymers on a feature on Connecting Travel and reflect, talk and connect dots about my journey so far.... The reflections certainly reaffirmed a simple yet profound truth, the importance of truly listening and focusing on people.
In our fast-paced industry, it's easy to get caught up in numbers, score cards and targets. It's about learnings along the way, connections with people and building a culture where every team member feels heard and valued.
If I could travel back in time, I would work in #Hospitality industry all over again. I would unpack the journey, embrace the challenges, celebrate the successes, and value the relationships formed along the way. Every step has been a lesson and many milestones to cherish.
To all my colleagues, friends, and fellow travelers, let's continue to listen, to learn, and to lead with empathy. As Mr. Marriott, so powerfully articulated, ''look after your people, they will look after your guests and the business and guests will come back''
