#education #remotelearning #riskmanagement #stadiums #venues #sportssecurity #vehiclesasweapons #knowledge #learninganddevelopment #leadership #socialmedia #collegesanduniversities #impact #valuecreation #thankyou #usesc would like to wish all our LinkedIn friends, family, and peers a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season. Thank you for your ongoing, continued support. The need to properly educate the front-line venue staff-security/guest services who safeguard today's stadiums, venues, arenas, performing arts centers, K-12, colleges/universities, places of worship, corporate entities, festivals, carnivals, and special events cannot be underscored. The significance of creating organizational culture starts with empowering staff-providing them the necessary resources and professional career development/lifelong education that creates value for the organization. The need to properly conduct site risk assessments is paramount during these trying times. Thank you as always. Best, James A. DeMeo, M.S. Vice President, Cybersecurity Strategy, Governance & Risk / Cybersecurity Compliance Senior Consultant
Just returned from speaking at the Richmond Events Cybersecurity Summit in Phoenix, Arizona sharing my professional insight on the topic of Developing and Executing an Effective Third-Party Risk Management Program. There were so many attendees who wanted to listen my talk, on day one of the conference, the presentation room was a full house! The conference organizers asked me to present my talk on the second day also! And again, it was made to another full house of CISO's, and senior management from dozens of companies. Financial, Retail, Medical, Manufacturing, Government agencies, were all represented. Attendees wanted to hear more about how to build an effective Third-Party Risk Program within their own organizations. What are the key building blocks. What are the challenges, and how to overcome them. How does a well-rounded program help reduce risk to a company. What were the results after completing more than 300 assessments of high-risk suppliers? I plan on returning to the summit next year again as a speaker with another exciting cybersecurity topic. So, stay tuned! https://lnkd.in/g5Z-KKAs
