Our firm served as lead engineer for the Route 7 Corridor Improvements in Northern Virginia for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). We teamed with Shirley Contracting Company, LLC as a design-build team. In accordance with Fairfax County’s Comprehensive Plan, the project aimed to increase capacity; improve safety and operations for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians; and expand pedestrian connections on a heavily travelled commuter corridor. Check out our project profile! Click here: https://lnkd.in/egXrbgcN All photos courtesy of VDOT. #transportation #engineering #traffic #Route7

Working as environmental stewards, STEM activists, and civic champions, our employees are dedicated to supporting the communities where we live and work. Check out some recent volunteering highlights from our offices around the country! Our geospatial and technology services (GTS) team in Fairfax, Virginia, assembled “summer survival” kits for Recovery Program Solutions of Virginia, a non-profit organization that serves and supports adults with homelessness, mental health, and substance abuse issues across Northern Virginia. Our Long Beach, California, office held its first beach cleanup of the year, spending the day at Mother’s Beach picking up trash and bonding as a team. Our Richmond, Virginia, office worked with RampsRVA to build a home entryway ramp for Juan, a local resident with mobility impairment. Our Raleigh, North Carolina, office participated in Special Olympics North Carolina’s (SONC) 25th anniversary Plane Pull event, one of SONC’s signature fundraising events, involving up to 400 participants who raise over $100,000 annually for SONC. Our Tulsa, Oklahoma, office recently got together to participate in the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse’s third annual Tulsa Mental Health Walk. #DewberryCares #volunteering #CommunityEngagement #AECindustry
