During the Future Banking Summit, Florian Teleabă, principal and office lead of Kearney Bucharest, shared insights from the recent #retail banking share of wallet study, which revealed that no single #bank claims more than 50% share of a customer's wallet. More than a third of big banks' customers are shared with another big bank or digital bank, and while nearly 25% of Romanians are contemplating closing their current bank relationship, more than 50% care considering opening a new one. Over 75% of surveyed customers would consolidate their banking products to just one of the banks, for the right reasons, presenting an opportunity for banks meeting their criteria.
