It has to be a thriving commercial corridor where people can shop and work in their own neighborhoods." Anika Goss spoke to Don Gonyea about Detroit's latest population growth on NPR Weekend Edition Saturday. Listen to the full conversation: https://n.pr/3zfYhRv

Our longtime partners at Arboretum Detroit (ARB) need our support. ARB has transformed 38 abandoned lots into 4 lovely public parks and a free tree nursery on Detroit's east side. A passion project of husband-and-wife team Birch and Kinga, ARB has removed tons of garbage, planted over 500 native trees, plants, flowers, installed accessible pathways, signage, gifted over 500 trees to neighbors, and hosted many free events. Every donation will go directly toward park maintenance and keeping their hardworking staff of local BIPOC community members employed! Donate here: https://bit.ly/3VMd13b

The panelists for the upcoming State of Small Business Webinar, representing the Small Business Association of Michigan, Michigan Black Business Alliance, and The Operations School, have key experience on how business support organizations can best serve Detroit's entrepreneurs. Join us on June 25th to hear their insights: https://bit.ly/45o0ZjS
