This is the rendering of the $81M hotel/condo development Mike Ealy and our team are doing in Sarasota Florida. I am super excited about this...why? 1) The LOCATION is insanely hot (from housing standpoint, the median home price increased by 24% in just one year!) 2) This hotel will be very COMPETITIVE under the Hilton Tapestry brand 3) The Return on Investment is going to be insane as we sell/presell the condo's to return a significant portion of our investor capital early in the process 4) and because of number 3, we'll end up with a hotel that has very low debt - which means it can survive recessions and maybe even another Covid variant 5) My partners who are helping me line up the private capital have lined up over 60% of the capital that we need already (on the first week since we started calling on our investors!) and we believe we will get this fully funded by next week. People have told me I was crazy to be buying hotels during the Covid 19 pandemic. But travel picked back up and I love the cashflows from my hotels right now (and they will only get better).
