There's simply no evidence that 60 years wasted building vertically and horizontally integrated segregating, rationing and inequitably subsidized mega-profitable health insurance conglomerates, has improved most Americans preventive, medical, surgical or palliative care access, outcomes or costs. Captiating physicians reimbursement, enrolling everyone on highly rationed Medicare Advantage HMO's or inventing another hair-brained insurer-biased 'value based care plan' aint gonna fix the problem. Only by neutralizing the profits of the health insurers utilizing the tried and proven Bismark Healthcare Model will all Americans gain access to quality affordable private insured and private FFS manufactured medical care with better outcomes, costs and access than America. We will keep on beating physicians until their morale improves. Every CMS Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services reimbursement cut to physicians over the last 2 decades results in a similar increase in earnings for private insurers who’s reimbursement contracts to doctors are based on CMS rates.

On Wednesday CMS released the 2025 physician fee schedule, which includes a proposed cut to the conversion factor, among other changes. Knuckleheads! Physicians have several choices: 1) focus on improving their productivity, and efficiency, (aka the RVU Treadmill) 2) Negotiate significant increases in commercial rates to compensate for the chronic underfunding by Medicare 3) Accept that their compensation for the same work will be lower 4) Limit access for Medicare patients (access for Medicaid patients is already limited except for in FQHCs) As a Medicare beneficiary, I fear my access to physicians will be limited. Meet Mona Liza Abdo, an Israeli-Arab Christian soldier from Haifa in the Israel Defense Forces, who wasn’t required to enlist in the Israeli army, but her determination to protect Israel motivated her to volunteer. She was a fighter on Israel’s southern border. She rose through the ranks to become a commander, teaching soldiers how to combat terrorism and other threats. Mona Liza says: “I keep the country of Israel safe, not only for the Jews but for the Arabs, too. And I would sacrifice my life for the sake of the State of Israel and all its citizens.” “I joined the IDF because I am an inseparable part of Israel. I came to serve my country and my home.” “My job as a commander in the IDF is to prevent terrorist attacks, smuggling operations and illegal entry into the country.” Abdo’s mother said she was overjoyed when her daughter told her that she wanted to enlist, which she described as a “mature decision.” “Israel is our country and our home.
