The art of resilience and celebrating the wins … There were times last year when I had to lean heavily on my resilience - and have realised that as I get older with more life experience under my belt, I am better able to put things into sharp perspective, especially with everything else that’s happening in the world! I have learnt how to better manage the more challenging times, knowing something new and better will be around the corner if I manage my mindset and continue to be myself. Someone also told me at the time I feel this way because I care so deeply - and it’s true. I throw everything I have to support my clients, looking for the opportunities, assessing the risks, thinking around corners to make things happen and get them to where they need / want to be. And when it comes to the wins, I don’t take them for granted. I take the time to celebrate and relish in them - big and small. And relentlessly encourage others in the team to do the same, to the point of being a little bit of a pest (sorry guys!). Life will continue to throw up challenges - personally and professionally - but it’s how you choose to tackle them that will make the difference to a good or a bad week… Safe to say, after two very successful brand presentations yesterday by our team for two separate clients (containing a total of four brand concepts), this week is an exceptionally good week! Bring on 2024.

The professional’s Touch on my brand. It's the 14th day of super amazing results. Participating in the challenge has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me yielding tangible results and fostering personal growth along the way. Within just a few days of joining Williams Tomide Sodunke 21 days challenge several noteworthy outcomes have emerged, highlighting the significance of such engagements. First and foremost 📌 the increase in engagement has been remarkable. This heightened interaction not only enhances visibility but also fosters a sense of belonging and connection for me. 📌The opportunity to forge genuine connections has been invaluable. Engaging with like-minded individuals who share similar interests and aspirations has facilitated the establishment of authentic relationships. 📌the generation of leads signifies a tangible impact resulting from participation in the challenge. Each lead represents a potential opportunity for growth and advancement. I have generated 4 leads since I started the challenge. In essence, the challenge serves as a fertile ground for personal and professional development. It has helped me enhance 📌visibility 📌cultivate meaningful connections 📌pursue valuable opportunities. The importance of such initiatives cannot be overstated As they serve as catalysts for growth, networking, and success. 2023 is the year Three Omens graduated from "startup." Here's the checklist of successes that proves such. ✅ We surpassed 7-figures in annual revenue ✅ Have five+ employees and dedicated contractors ✅ Have an amazing office & offer hybrid work environment ✅ Honor the 5-day x 8-hour work schedule and limited work communication after hours ✅ Launched marketing campaigns for our services ✅ Have productized deliverables that target specific potential customers ✅ Retain over a dozen repeat clients on retainer that fuel our brand's rapid expansion. But to be completely transparent, I must share the losses/battles accompanying this growth path. ❌ Our first three years, we barely broke even and made enough to pay ourselves 30% less than what we earned in our prior careers. ❌ We worked ourselves to near death. 10-hour day minimums, weekends, and even some holidays. ❌ Worked mostly remote, on our dining room tables or coffee shops ❌ Only had contractors ❌ Said Yes to any job that landed on our table Every "W" comes from taking many "L's". Thankful for my business partner, Jake Craigmile. Thankful for any client that has trusted us to fulfill their needs. Could it be too late to post a new year's post? Maybe Am I still going to do it? Absolutely! Happy new year and here's to a great 2024! 🥳 In 2023, I won Best Social Media Campaign with CF at Cork Chamber's Cork Digital Marketing Awards. And this bottle of prosecco! In 2023, I started my own business specialising in Arts Marketing. Working with artists and organisations on various projects. One of my pet peeves is when we're not 'allowed' to celebrate the wins. I've had bosses in the past who would ask what's next instead of "allowing" me to celebrate my win. It gave me a complex not wanting to talk about my wins or I would mention them in passing so no one would pay attention to them or god forbid, they would say I'm bragging. Thankfully, I've grown out of that. So much so, I'll talk about my wins for years to come. And I'll talk about yours too until you learn to do it for yourself. When we get clear on how we're going to celebrate once the goal has been achieved, it can add the extra motivation and commitment needed to start, make progress on, or finalise that goal.
