The average conversion rate for a fashion website is around 2%. Cart abandonment is around 66%. These are well know numbers. Enough to do a google search to get them And what are the corresponding numbers for a fashion store? These are much harder (if not impossible) to get and have never been measured consistently. 🛍 Making sense of the fashion industry 💲 The fashion world is diverse and can seem confusing with all its brands and styles. A good way to understand it all is to categorize brands according to price. Fashion brands have different strategies for pricing their items, and this tells us a lot about who they are for and what they offer. 📈 I looked at the data to see if a brand's actual pricing matches its perceived image. I was surprised to find out that some brands were positioned differently than I expected. For example, I used to think of many of analyzed brands as high-end, but most of their collection was actually priced lower. 🌟 Developing a better understanding of the relationship between pricing and brand perception can help fashion brands gain a competitive advantage.
