Yesterday, we hiked the ‘Coliseum Mountain Trail’ with one of our AMAZING clients. (OK NOT LITERALLY) The mission? To conquer the lofty peaks of our five key topics: #CelebratingMilestones, #GrowingOurPeople, #RaisingtheBar, #LeadingwithImpact, and #NavigatingGrowth. Spoiler alert: We didn't just hike the mountain; we threw a party at the summit. Ok, that might be overkill… there was no mountain or party, but we did have cupcakes 🧁🧁🧁 and cookies!🍪🍪🍪
We kicked things off by celebrating some pretty big milestones, which means that we survived the first two hours without resorting to the emergency coffee stash… ☕️😂we did actually record our milestones for 2023… HOLY SMOKES… these leaders (and their teams) deserve to celebrate!
We looked at where they were at the beginning of 2023 when TAP - The Accountability Partners, Inc. first started working with them, and how far they’ve come… just WOW 🤩 🤩
Next, we ventured into "Growing Our People". Turns out, you can't actually water your colleagues to make them grow. 🌱 🥴🤷♀️
Just when we thought we couldn't elevate the conversation any higher, we dove into the topic of "Raising the Bar". That’s when we pulled out the TAP - ELEVATE TEAM EXCELLENCE FRAMEWORK 🎉🗺️📍
Turns out “Leading with Impact” wasn’t about meteors at all 🤷♀️but about influence. Who knew that leading could be less about wielding authority and more about empowerment and innovation? 🙄😅 Well, actually we knew (lol) BUT HEY, we all need to start somewhere, right?!
In the words of good ‘ole Simon Sinek, “Leadership is not a journey to rise in the ranks, leadership is a journey to help those around us rise”!
So we chartered our course to “Navigating Growth”. With a map drawn on flip charts and a compass powered by collective energy, we discovered uncharted territories of potential.
We might not have found the ‘Lost Lemon Mine’, but we certainly found new pathways to excellence.
As the sun set over the #RockyMountain peaks in #Alberta, we emerged not just as a team, but a team of #empowered #leaders, ready to #elevate our #teamexcellence to new heights. 🧗♀️
I know, I know… there are two sides to every story, so here are some comments from our participants:

1moGreat reminder Dennis Hummel! Many leaders underestimate the value of relationships. Vistage groups require very high levels of trust and vulnerability in order to process hard issues. Meeting each other partners and knowing people personally outside of their titles is an impactful way to build that trust. When group members like each other and feel safe sharing their 5% that they don’t share with anybody outside these groups, they can 10X their personal and business growth.
