Will you be attending MIPIM this year? Wilson Browne Solicitors will be attending #MIPIM this year! That's right, Ika Částka, Nina Wilson, John Punni, Kevin Rogers, Wayne Jenkins and I will be attending #MIPIM2024. MIPIM is described as "the premier real estate event gathering the most influential players from all sectors of the international property industry" with 22,500 delegates, 6,500+ investors, 90 countries and 300+ stands. To attend MIPIM os a significant investment of time and money; so why are we going? Well, our Legal 500 recognised Commercial Property Team have a wealth of experience acting for a vast array of clients, from start-ups to national and international heavyweights, on a range of property matters, including land acquisition and development deals, leases, freehold property, acting for SIPPS/SASS’s, corporates, and individuals, dealing with commercial lenders, through to dealing with Option Agreements, Promotion Agreements, and Overage and everything else in-between. It makes sense therefore that we will be at #MIPIM24. Fear not though, whilst it is a big investment of time and money to attend, we aren't going there to sell and hunt for clients (although if you want to instruct us, we aren't going to say no to a discussion! 😉 😂 ). So, why are we going? Well, put simply, to network. We are attending in order to meet like-minded professionals that, yes it would be lovely to work directly with, but that could also assist our own clients and contacts too. So, if you fancy meeting, there will be no hard sales pitches from us, but just a chance to chat with like-minded down-to-earth property professionals who deal with a spread of property matters, enjoy networking and ultimately enjoy helping people. RODTEP benefit extended to Advance Authorisation holders, EoUs and SEZ units. In a welcome and much awaited move, the government has extended the benefit of RODTEP scheme to exports made by AA holders, EoUs and SEZ units. This was a long pending and reasonable ask of the industry which has been accepted by the Government. It is likely to give further impetus to the exports from the country.
