New Cilium feature this week: Mutual Authentication! 🤝 Add a couple of lines to your Network Policies and your workload communication is now authorized with a mutual TLS handshake. A full SPIFFE/SPIRE stack is deployed as part of Cilium to manage certificates for mutual authentication. 📜 You can verify that the traffic has been authenticated, using Hubble 🔭 You can watch a brief demo below - I tried to be brief as it's the summer holidays (I know that, at any time, the kids might interrupt me during my video recording...).
