More and more companies are prioritizing the financial well-being of their workforce, for good reason. Research consistently shows that investing in the financial wellness of your employees directly affects key human capital metrics, including engagement, productivity and retention. That said, financial well-being programs are not one-size-fits-all. Your employees have varied financial journeys, and disparities in wealth and education affect how underserved populations participate in these programs. Their needs may be different, and your organization must be able to adjust accordingly. Join E4E Relief's upcoming webinar on HR.com and hear from experts Yemi Rose (Founder and CEO, OfColor), Janet M. Stovall, CDE (Global Head of DEI, NeuroLeadership Institute), Jeanette Torres (Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Ferrara) and Davida Rivens (Managing Director, Growth & Development, E4E Relief) as they discuss how to factor diversity, equity and inclusion into your financial well-being initiatives for lasting success. Equity doesn’t have to be aspirational. It CAN be actionable. Looking forward to discussing one way to make it so with Yemi Rose, Jeanette Torres and Davida Rivens on E4E Relief’s upcoming webinar on HR.com.

Workforce Development Professional I Career Advisor I Dedicated to continuous development, management, and cultivating people
This week, I had the incredible privilege of connecting with the Kansas RETAINWORKS team at the Annual #RETAINWORKS Summit. Engaging with such a knowledgeable group of individuals was inspiring. At RETAINWORKS, we firmly believe that "Work is a health outcome" is not merely a statement; it's a guiding principle that drives our efforts to help individuals affected by both employment-related and non-employment-related injuries and illnesses return to work or stay at work. The summit was a powerful reminder of the profound impact we can achieve when we are committed to making a difference. Together, we're not just shaping outcomes; we're transforming lives. https://retainworks.org/

The North Bay is one of the most expensive regions in the United States for businesses to operate. With the high costs of living, intense competition for talent, rigorous regulations around worker protections and a tight labor market, the North Bay area faces several challenges that contribute to the cost of doing business.

It was so great to work with Digital Wellness Lab and Allison Wolfe on this piece! It's always important (and fun!) to reflect on the work we do at the Family Online Safety Institute, and the path that lead me here. This series is going to be a great one, and I'm looking forward to reading the upcoming features! #InspiredInternet
One of the foundational organizing principles of our #InspiredInternet Pledge is collaboration. We know that no one person, organization, company, or even industry can address the challenge of youth and family digital wellbeing on their own — it will take partnership and shared creativity to design a healthier and safer digital experience in an effective and lasting way. As part of our commitment to openness, and our desire to help accelerate the pace of change, we are launching a new blog series we're calling Fellow Travelers, featuring colleagues from around the world who focus on aspects of digital wellbeing from a different perspective than ours at the Digital Wellness Lab. Our goal? To amplify their work, share their expertise, and deepen solution-focused collaboration across organizations. First up is Alanna Powers, Research and Program Specialist at Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) (an Inspired Internet Pledge Advisor). In this insightful interview, Alanna shares what she’s learned in her work, along with some thoughts on how to make tech healthy, safe, and fun for young people. Her recommendations include ideas for parents, kids, and industry. Learn more about Alanna, FOSI, and get Alanna's recommendations at: https://ow.ly/qC9x50SyNbZ

At INTEGRIS Health, I've been fortunate to be surrounded by colleagues who are not just peers but catalysts for transformation. So Why Strong Peers Matter? Strong peers challenge us to push beyond our limits. They are the mirrors reflecting our potential, often seeing strengths in us that we overlook. The INTEGRIS Health Difference At INTEGRIS Health, my peers have been instrumental in helping me evolve into the best version of myself. On Sunday, I'll be headed to the #HLTH2023 conference in Las Vegas. 🍸 🍺 🍷 . I'm really excited to be on a panel to discuss an important topic - how employers decide where to put their time, energy and money, to help their employees with their health and well-being. If you know me though, I'm not much of a Vegas 🎲 kind of guy. You're definitely more likely to find me hiking or biking. I've got mixed feelings going into this trip. I've been inundated with requests from well-meaning individuals who want to connect. Most of the offers though feel more like putting a square peg in a round hole. I'm looking for colleagues who want to connect about employee health and well-being and not artificial intelligence. I'm looking for employers who want to talk about #WellBeingAtWork, to help their own employees! I'm looking for those who want to support the #mentalhealth of one of our nations most precious resources, healthcare workers. I've found a few good matches and thank the following in advance: * Dipty Desai, Ph.D. - we'll chat about how to support the health and well-being of the IT workers in healthcare. * Caroline Pearson - moderating our panel and helping our community be more efficient in making meaningful connections for advancing care (in my case, for employees). * Shelby Livingston - let's talk about what business leaders are missing when it comes to a healthy workforce. If you think we have enough in common for a meaningful exchange (and not a sales pitch), please message me on LinkedIn. Thanks! #employeebenefits #humanresources
