I wanted to share this as a follow-up to my personal post earlier this week about Mike….. what an amazing community…..

I am still reeling in the painful information like so many, about the loss of GlideFast Consulting’s CEO, Michael Lombardo. Affectionately known as “The Mayor of ServiceNow”, Michael was just an amazing human being in so many ways. I first met Michael through LinkedIn where he reached out to me randomly after learning about my background with ServiceNow. I went on to meet him in person at Knowledge 18. The man was just an instant friend and ally from that point on and I stayed in touch and would grab a photo each year at the conference. Attached was our last photo together from Knowledge 23. I also attached a photo of swag shirt he sent me that I have worn for every certification exam since as it became good luck! He led by example, and it’s obvious how well he is respected by everyone at GlideFast and around this ecosystem. When Michael wasn’t able to attend Knowledge 24, I was bummed but happy to get to participate in the Knowledge 24 Poker Tournament benefiting the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, of which Michael was a passionate supporter and board member. Then when Nick Tzitzon from ServiceNow asked everyone in attendance at one of the keynotes to send some love to Michael, I had goosebumps seeing his picture on that screen next to Idris Elba and Pitbull! I sent the video to Michael instantly and he was so touched by this community! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, staff, and the entire ServiceNow community. ❤️💔❤️💔 #CrushitforMike #LombardoLegacy #MayorMemories
