🚀 Exciting News: I Built a Disease Prediction Model and web App! 🌐💊 Hey LinkedIn fam, I'm thrilled to share a recent project that I've poured my heart into — building a disease prediction model and turning it into a user-friendly web application. 🧠💡 🔍 Project Highlights: 1. Dataset: Got my hands on a comprehensive dataset from Kaggle, diving into symptoms and disease predictions. 2. Model Iterations: Initially started with a Random Forest model, imputing symptom severity based on another dataset. After some real-time challenges, I revamped the data structure, dropping certain features, and switched to a TensorFlow-based approach — utilising both ANN (softmax regression) and a refined Random Forest model. 3. Web Application: Transformed the model into an interactive web app using Streamlit, allowing users to input their symptoms and receive predicted diseases. 🌐 4. User Engagement: Added a touch of personalization by asking users about their known diseases and medications — a simple yet powerful way to enhance the user experience. 5.
