On last weeks podcast, we sat down with Ché Anderson, MPA on the podcast.
We talk about everything from the state of the footwear industry, how to find happiness, and what he’s focused on in the future.
Big love to this conversation that was real and super genuine. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/emZUuAC2
This perspective on life and the systemic issues we face as a global community was really refreshing. I used to be deeply troubled by injustices that, while often not affecting me directly, impacted others profoundly. I constantly felt a mixture of anger, confusion, and horror, especially in response to what I perceived as widespread apathy. The notion of being happy amidst these struggles once seemed almost unethical to me. I have really been intentionally unlearning this and trying to cultivate joy as a virtue and a guiding principle, rather than allowing anger at injustices to dominate my worldview. I connect with many of the ideas Ché shared, particularly the emphasis on identifying the underlying needs in conversations / what we “should” be doing in order to move beyond surface-level interactions. Thanks for this great video!

Join me as I dive into my lifelong love for footwear and my mission to drive positive change within the industry.
When Annabel Nnawuchi approached me for this podcast, I couldn't contain my excitement. Footwear isn't just a hobby for me—it's a true passion. During this episode, we'll discuss everything kicks, but we're also shedding light on the incredible women within the footwear community.
Let's face it, not all women in the industry get the recognition they deserve, especially black women who still face challenges. In this podcast, I'm celebrating the remarkable contributions of my fellow women who've overcome obstacles to make a difference.
But there's more. We're pushing boundaries by spotlighting a creative individual with Down syndrome and autism. It's time to bring diversity to the forefront of the industry conversation!
Our energy is at an all-time high—110! We're not just passive listeners; we're creating a ripple effect for change. Join us in this movement. Share the podcast with friends, family, and colleagues. Let's spread the message everywhere—to every media platform, retail store, and sportswear brand.
