Finding Freedom and Feathered Friends at KPI6 🐦 At KPI6, I've discovered a workplace that goes beyond the conventional office setup. Remote work isn't just an option; it's the norm. But what sets KPI6 apart is its refreshing approach to embracing our furry and feathered companions. As a bird mom to the cutest gcc conure named Elio, I was happy to find that KPI6 not only accommodates remote work but also welcomes pets into the office. Bringing Elio with me to the Reggio Emilia office has become a cherished routine, and having a designated space for his cage makes it even easier. It's more than just a perk; it's a testament to KPI6's inclusive culture. Pets aren't just tolerated; they're celebrated as part of the team. The presence of furry and feathered friends adds a sense of warmth and camaraderie to the workplace, making it feel less like a traditional office and more like a community. Working alongside Elio has not only enhanced my work-life balance but also fostered connections with colleagues who share a love for animals. Whether it's swapping pet stories during coffee breaks or simply enjoying the company of our four-legged and winged companions, KPI6 has created a unique and welcoming environment that values both productivity and well-being. In a world where remote work is increasingly prevalent, KPI6 stands out as a pioneer in promoting flexibility and inclusivity. My experience here has been nothing short of rewarding, and I'm grateful to be part of a company that prioritizes both professional growth and personal fulfillment. #remotework #KPI6 #birdfriends

🏢🏡 The Work Dichotomy: Office vs. Home 🏡🏢 🏢 Office Work: A bustling hub of collaboration, the office cultivates spontaneous interactions and teamwork. Structured routines and commuting help separate work from personal life, while in-person networking fosters growth. 🏡 Working from Home: Embracing flexibility and autonomy, remote work blurs geographical boundaries. It offers comfort, convenience, and global connections. Family balance and cost-effective commuting make it an attractive option. ⚖️ The Choice: Reflect on your work style, role demands, and personal circumstances. Consider hybrid options for the best of both worlds. Regardless of where you work, adaptability and balance are key in the evolving work landscape. 🌟 At NewDay, we have options for all! We start in office and you can earn your way to have flexibility.

There's a reason why Startup Sherpas is a remote working company! I put out a poll about what kind of working week people would prefer and most people voted for the 4-day week. I suppose it's up to every individual, but this is the general direction we're heading in for the reasons @Amy listed like flexibility, diversity, and work-life balance to accommodate to the needs of our #neurodiversecolleagues. 🤔 It's that question of: 'how can we be productive while we work, so that we can go and live some life!?' → https://loom.ly/UIg4oF4 📷 - Anthony Georgis #work #life #balancing

Organizational Psychologist 🧠 | Future of Work Speaker 🎤 | Women's Health Mentor 🌿 | Community Lead @ Oyster 🌎
What a better way to celebrate 1 month at Oyster 🌎 than to work remotely from the sunny canals of East London today?! ☀️ I’ve learned so much the last few weeks, and I wanted to share some of these reflections with you all: 🌟 In a world where office walls are replaced by borderless and digital horizons, the role of People and Culture leaders takes center stage. People Leaders are the owners, designers and leaders of how people work, interact and experience their companies. 🏃♀️ The role of the People & Culture leader is evolving into a more proactive, ever-changing and continuous form of work. People Leaders are creating and shaping the future of work, not just responding to it. 🕒 Remote-first companies take flexibility to the next level. I’m in the middle of an international move and the flexibility that Oyster offers has made managing my moving logistics and working life a whole lot easier. You are the owner of your calendar, and you make it work for yourself. 🌐 Async work is the secret weapon - documenting, tagging & using the right tools. Contrary to the myth that global remote companies translate to sleep-depriving schedules, Oyster’s async ways of working allow collaboration across time zones, borders, and cultures without compromising on your work-life balance. Do you want support on how to navigate your remote or hybrid workforce in this ever changing world and to meet like-minded individuals going through the same challenges as you? 👩🏫 Join our community 👉 https://lnkd.in/ehiwUgZB #OysterHR #peoplebuilders #community #remotework #remotefirst #hybridwork

As the Dayshift Project continues to develop, Jeremiah and I are making a profound discovery about how to live your best work-life while remote (at home or elsewhere). If you are one of the millions of people working 3 or more days per week from home, or a Manager of these people you will find this article on developing a personal culture of work, a must read. Managers are used to dealing with difficult operational matters, but don't know where to begin when cultural differences show up. As an employee you can take charge of this situation, and help your Manager to better understand the particular ways of working that matter you, and the discipline that you come from. This can be a win/win situation because culture is where productivity comes from. If this article describes a situation that you know a friend is facing, please share this further. And let's change the conversation from 'where is work going to happen?' to 'how can we make working a whole lot better?' ! And if you have a question or two, reach out directly. I am always happy to talk shop.
How to build a personal culture of work, and why it matters. What’s your personal culture of work? Cultural formation is now taking place in both shared and personal spaces simultaneously. When all of those varying personal spaces add up, it can feel like a groundswell of change for everyone within an organisation to adapt to. Through our Dayshift research, we've discovered there's a unique opportunity to create a personal culture of work that links with the multiple cultures an individual may encounter, yet is grounded within individual values and behaviours. Success for the whole will be built by the individual before it can cohere into broader units of behaviour. "Remote, hybrid, or everybody back to the office, it no longer matters. Once a few of your team members are working remotely for the day everyone is affected." If you’re looking for guidance to explore your, or your team's personal culture of work or even to discuss an introduction to the topic, please reach out and book a 50 minute Talk Party with us. For a limited time there is no fee and no obligation. Contact: dayshift.design/about For more information about Dayshift and how we're designing for personal cultures of work, please read more here: https://lnkd.in/eDgqxnnD #PersonalWorkCulture #RedesigningRemoteWork #CognitiveHumanFactors

Locations I've worked from so far this year: Denver, CO Orlando, FL Fort Lauderdale, FL Salt Lake City, UT New York, NY This is just a work flexibility appreciation post! Quality of life improves so much when you're able to work from wherever you want — whether this is through a flexible remote job, or owning your own business. For some people, maybe the flexibility isn't used for traveling! Maybe it's used to pick your kids up from school. Maybe it's used to work alternate hours and volunteer in their classroom. Maybe it's used to be able to fully customize your desk setup so you're the most comfortable and productive. Or maybe, you're just using the extra hour per day you don't commute to an office to build new skills. Whatever your reason for loving work flexibility, it's clear that having control over your work environment and schedule can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. Here's to more work-life balance! #WorkFlexibility #RemoteWork #QualityOfLife #WorkLifeBalance

Nano Influencer Expert | Co-Founder at Gifta | Leveraging the new wave of influencers & creating authentic user-generated content at scale
We still believe working from home has its benefits, from April we are returning to the office three days a week, and this is why👇 At GIFTA we are proud to shape our new company culture by introducing a four-day work week, with three of those days being in-office starting in April. Our focus isn't to force people in for no reason, our focus is to create a wonderful company culture for the incredible team we work with. This is why we are heading back to the office: 1. Face-to-face Collaboration: In-person interactions create ideas, brainstorming, and problem-solving among the team. 2. Enhanced Communication: Direct communication fosters clarity, reduces misunderstandings, and promotes efficient exchange of ideas and information. 3. Team Bonding: Being physically present in the office allows for spontaneous conversations, team lunches, and social activities, creating stronger team relationships and a sense of camaraderie. 4. Access to Resources: Offices provide equipment, software, and resources that may not be available at home and allow the team to do their best work, boosting productivity and efficiency. 5. Structured Environment: The office environment offers a structured routine, delineating work time from personal time and promoting a healthier work-life balance. 6. Mentorship Opportunities: Being in the office facilitates mentorship and professional development opportunities through informal interactions and guidance from experienced colleagues. 7. Professional Networking: Working in the office allows for networking opportunities with colleagues, managers, and industry professionals, which can be beneficial for career advancement. 8. Company Culture: The office serves as the hub for experiencing and reinforcing company culture, values, and norms, contributing to employee engagement and satisfaction. 9. Reduced Isolation: Working alongside colleagues in the office reduces feelings of isolation and loneliness often experienced by remote workers, promoting mental well-being. 10. Separation of Work and Home: Physically leaving home to go to the office creates a clear boundary between work and personal life, helping to prevent burnout and maintain work-life balance. What are your flexible working conditions in 2024? #returntooffice #worklifebalance #4dayworkweek #companyculture
