On Monday, I joined the communications team at CVS Health. One week in, I'm convinced it was the right move. This is a team of experts, as you would expect from a Fortune 6 company. But more importantly, it's a team that is kind, thoughtful, and dedicated to the company's mission of helping people with their health wherever or whenever they need us. I find myself surrounded by colleagues who are not only GREAT at their jobs, but fundamentally GOOD. And for that, I'm grateful. If you're unfamiliar with the broad scope of CVS Health, see this recent CBS News interview with our CEO Karen Lynch discussing how we're improving patient outcomes, lowering costs, and broadening access to quality care: https://lnkd.in/egmf6ESA

Interview Tip #12 It’s important to make a positive and lasting impression during the interview process. One way you can do this is by practicing a confident, strong speaking voice and friendly, open body language. Even if these come naturally to you, it's a good idea to practice in front of a mirror or with family/friends to help you feel more confident when it comes to interview time. This extra practice can also help you curb your nerves. If you're ready to start looking for that new job, please reach out to us and see how we can help.

Chief Executive Officer at ROLINC Staffing | Current “Speaker of the House” & Former President (2019-2023) Colorado Staffing Association (Official)
Thanks again to Beverly Smith, CSP, CRA, CEIC for having me on her weekly live stream… if you are not following her, she has years of experience in recruitment and staffing, and is now helping professionals put their best foot forward with résumé building and boosting their online presence! Truly enjoyed the opportunity to speak about the crazy hiring market that we find ourselves in, and how to bridge the gap between job seekers, and employers! The tension and the frustration is real… How do we get all parties to get the most out of the experience? 🤝 EMPATHY ♥️ … seeking to understand the challenges, and being mindful of them, and how we interact and communicate, and move the process forward for the sake of every party involved! The difference between success and failure in the hiring process is often found in the gap between completing a TRANSACTION and building a RELATIONSHIP ! I also love that this picture highlights our qualities… Beverly Smith, CSP, CRA, CEIC … a refined, cultured, knowledgeable, and empathetic professional! Me, on the other hand… CRAZY EYES 👀! 😂 If you’d like to catch the rest of this, here’s the link: https://lnkd.in/gH8dhxUP #livestream #partnerships #buildingrelationships #makingadifference #recruitment #staffingindustry #empathy #relationshipsovertransactions #purpose #servingothers #recruitmentexpertise

"Improving hiring processes by working with specialist recruiters and focusing on quality applications can lead to better outcomes for employers and job seekers" Institute of Internal Communication. In a world of social media and algorithms, candidates and clients are increasingly relying on a scattergun online approach to find a job and search for new staff. But the more targeted approach you use – one that involves real people talking and guiding you through the process - the higher the chance of a not only a match but the right fit. In shared experiences with other healthcare professionals, I have come to learn that many job recruiters are seeking out candidates for a role only to ghost clients in the middle of the process. This can be a discouraging and unprofessional experience for job seekers. If the role is filled, let the candidate know. If it is not a good fit, let the candidate. If the role gets put on hold, let the candidate. Respectful and professional communication is essential to building upper-level networking skills. We can do so much better. Be kind. Be professional. Have integrity in your recruitment efforts and be transparent.

Is it just me or does there seem to be an ‘Awareness Day' every day... well, today we are sharing this ribbon… we’ve all worked with them, for them, but luckily we have awesome clients & we are pretty awesome here too… so we’ve got you. Ever thought about switching to a more lucrative sector? One with higher fees, perhaps a more engaging candidate base, or one that plays to your strength & enables you to bill more? We’ve flipped more candidates into new sectors than ever before this past 12 months and the feedback we’ve been getting from them is fantastic just read some of testimonials… If you are thinking the grass isn’t necessarily greener, do some research have a look at the article linked below, and even better give us a call and we can talk your through your options, because there are many… https://lnkd.in/g3gWuEN5 Jo Green: 07780 705 173 joanne.green@spencerhunt.co.uk Drew Steele: 07825 560 327 drew.steele@spencerhunt.co.uk Rory Fittes: 07557 110 357 rory.fittes@spencerhunt.co.uk
