This a fantastic opportunity to discuss some pressing questions about the advertising landscape, especially in the cosmetics industry. Today, we published our financial results for January to September 2023. We are proud to announce that Beiersdorf continues its strong performance in the third quarter and maintains significant double-digit growth (+11.2%) in the first nine months. The main drivers of these exceptional results were our iconic NIVEA brand with tremendous broad-based growth globally (+17.5%) as well as our consistently successful Derma business with the Eucerin and Aquaphor brands (+24.8%). These performances more than outbalanced the decrease at La Prairie (-15.8%) which was primarily due to continued negative effects of “daigou” business and our subsequent active destocking of the travel retail channel. For our tesa Business, strong performances in the Automotive and Consumer division offset the effects of challenging market environments and led to organic sales growth of 1.3%. Beiersdorf upgrades its full-year sales guidance to low-double-digit organic sales growth for the Group and Consumer Business segment. L'Oréal: very strong start of the year with a +9.4% revenue growth in Q1, beating analysts consensus by a wide margin (+330 bps) with €11.2bn sales Very commendable performance of its key markets USA/ Europe (+12% growth) and the CPD (mass), and the Dermatological Division looking from segment perspective.
