This weekend was a full-circle moment. In 2011 Adam Port and Rampa from DJ Crew Keinemusik were the cover stars of the third issue of the Highsnobiety print magazine. Local heroes already back then, they have become global superstars since then. We teamed up with Keinemusik on a capsule collection for their July 4 & 5 shows at Brooklyn Mirage and pre-launched the collection with a pop-up store at KidSuper in Williamsburg. Thanks everyone for coming out and for making this such a great moment!

After many years of sneakers getting chunkier and chunkier, it seems like the market is finally taking a turn. From PUMA Group bringing back some of its racing inspired footwear to New Balance presenting some exciting, yet slim, collaborations with the likes of MiuMiu and Issey Miyake, it feels like we are finally turning a page. "Dad shoes have cast a long, chunky shadow across sneakerdom for the better part of a decade. But, as they say: the bigger you come, the harder you fall. Flat sneakers are about to bring their titanic progenitors down to size, ushering in a new era of exclusively low-profile shoes. Or are they?" What do you think? https://lnkd.in/ez5m-C5N

As always, trends come and go and as such something this iconic always has its moments. At the same time rather unexpected. What should they do now? Feed into this newfound interest by the youth? The Highsnobiety "Not In Paris" collection is an ode to Paris. 🇫🇷 The upcoming collection builds around our emphasis on the French capital's portrayal, engaging with tourists' perceptions of the city.
