The summer is the perfect time to explore all Colorado has to offer and go camping, but it’s important to stay safe.    Here’s some quick tips:    1. Be aware of any risks around your tent – like big trees, mud puddles or any insert homes!    2. Be aware of the weather! We know Colorado has a mind of its own but keep a close eye on the radar so you don’t end up in a bad situation unprepared.    3. Drive safely! Many campsites are on remote roads, and may have people walking or biking, or wildlife popping up unexpectedly!     If you end up in an accident, we’re here for you, but hopefully these tips keep you safe for a summer of camping!    #RectorStuzynskiLaw #Camping

As Cellular advancements were altered in the spirit of progress, they haven't always served mankind in a better way. Such is the Case with some of Colorado's rural Cellular networks. Anyone who has worked in IT for any length of time was here to see digital cellular networks replace the original Analog cell phones that used to cover more wide ranging areas. While the digital networks are much more reliable and able to transport data and voice more robustly, they don't have the same cellular signal foot print that Analog Cell Towers once had. The result over the past decade or more has been a loss of cellular communications in many places that historically had them. In 2008, the Analog cell networks were wholly retired, paving a way for what we currently have in latest digital technologies. In Larimer County Colorado and some small portions of neighboring counties the rural communities used to boast as many as 65 Callboxes in areas that were very remote, and still other areas where 911 lacked infrastructure. Larimer County works hard to provide as many outlets as they can to make their citizens safe. It has been a challenge to get 911 services to an area that used to rely on analog cellular footprint. Many of these areas still lack coverage, and it can take extreme measures for residents to contact 911 services in the event of landline network failures. This projects goal, now in its 2nd year vision by #LETA to reinitiate those lost communication links, has already begun to bridge that gap. These 17 Satellite K-1 Callboxes from #Knightscope replace the interstice that was created when Cellular went digital, and add a beacon of hope in rural communities.
