Since losing London head Alvaro Membrillera to Kirkland and deputy London head Ramy J.Wahbeh to Sidley Austin, Paul Weiss showcased the firm's UK expansion plans with the announcement that the firm had prized PE heavyweight Neel Sachdev along with a team which included partners Kanesh Balasubramaniam, Matthew Merkle and Deirdre Jones from Kirkland. Just weeks after, Paul Weiss has continued its aggressive expansion plans with the announcement of four more partner hires from Kirkland and a partner from Linklaters.
