I’m honored to have been asked to join the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) podcast to chat about the value of my West Point experience. Check out the episode here: https://bit.ly/3OLHZ8A Thanks, Joseph Kopser and the WPAOG team for hosting! I hope I didn’t screw it up too badly.
Can't think of a better guy to tell the Networking story. You can add me as a small footnote for walking into your office in 2012 trying to save a storage deal for EMC and I walked out with a job offer to run a sales division for you which changed my life. The Long Gray Line is real.
Great podcast featuring my former cadet squad leader and long time business colleague Dave Alberga. Check it out.
Dave, awesome job. Proud to be your classmate and Beast “Squadmate”!!
Dave, your experience at WP and in the infantry certainly resonated with me, more so the concept of Professional Will! Whether it was in Ranger School, leading soldiers, or an entrepreneurial venture there was/is never a shortage of unimaginable problems to solve. The will to get through it against insurmountable odds is a rare trait. Thanks for sharing, and for the affirmation that you don’t have to know it all just need to build a team of good people. Congratulations on your great success!
Great interview!
Fantastic podcast, Dave! It was great to hear your voice again and to hear about your experiences since the time you left P&G!
That’s awesome!
Good stuff! 🫡
Congrats Dave!

1yGreat interview Dave. And experienced all the principles you mentioned being led by you at ACTIVE and those principles have stuck with me too in my career. Which I am thankful for. I remember you even took your platoon/company leadership to an important level in a Paris taxi where the driver was taking us nowhere late at night and you got google maps out and shared the route to him and where we need to go and told us “I will never lose a platoon”. This was early days of google maps, and not normal behaviour, so shocked the driver. It was funny and serious.
