By adding a LUVOBATCH® chemical blowing agent (CBA) during your injection molding or extrusion process, the reactive additives split off gases through a thermal decomposition reaction during the processing of the thermoplastics. This creates a stable bubble structure in the polymer matrix.  Similar to the process of physical foaming, in which gas is injected directly into the process, but without any additional machine settings or special screw designs. Weight reduction = cost reduction and material savings ... and of course other advantages such as better processability, lower temperatures ( = energy savings) and new part designs due to changed melt behavior.
