Can we talk about the importance of swag for a moment, and why you should be giving it to your employees? No, swag isn't cheap - I get it. I've been the person ordering and maintaining inventory. Some companies have told me, "We don't hand it out, people only want it because it's free.", but then put it for sale at ridiculous prices on the company portal while giving it out freely only to executives But you really should be giving it to your employees because what it brings is far more valuable than the monetary cost. Speaking as a worker bee, I can tell you that receiving it makes you feel like the company cares about you, like you're worth spending a few extra bucks. We feel special wearing it. We want to let everyone know, "Hey, check it out - I work at Pennoni!" We post it to social media because we want to tell folks all about who we are and what we do (and who knows, maybe what we can also do for THEM...). We become walking, talking billboards and who doesn't love that kind of word-of-mouth advertising? But more importantly, it boosts employee morale and happy, proud employees make for successful companies. 🤜🤛 #WhyPennoni #marketing #businessdevelopment #swag #morale #teambuilding

I have a couple of cardigans from a previous employer. A cardigan is never something I would buy for myself, but I got a lot of use from them--kind of a dressy alternative to a light jacket. Now I can only wear them around the house. On the other hand that employer didn't have backpacks and Pennoni's are nice!
