Spring has sprung...fresh flowers flourish...and with that another quarter in sales has arrived. I have spent the week celebrating promotion announcements, sales accomplishments posts, and watching so many of you share what you are proud of from Q1. This is what collaboration, support, and team work are. I am not here to share out all the amazing things my team has done, but rather to showcase the individuals that I have the joy of supporting week in and week out. Briel Steinberg was promoted in Q1, and booked more discos for herself than anyone on the team. Joanna Chen moved to a new posting all while getting over 90% to her software goal and 137% total ARR Ava Klein was promoted from Mid-Market to Enterprise, and in her first quarter as an Enterprise rep finished 116% to goal Matthew Davis started as an Enterprise rep. Applying solid prospecting motion (just picking up the phone) he has been able to build to 2x pipeline in his first quarter. K.C. Simons stepped in to be the voice of institutional knowledge for our Key Account team leading the way in the program re-invention, and closing 181% of business ARR against his goal. Frank Flaim was able to step away to celebrate an expansion in his family, and know that FreeWill values family enough that he continues to be compensated for his time. Arif Nuri was promoted from Mid-Market to Key Accounts, and dove in headfirst to the learning and adoption of a new sales motion. He even managed to find time to travel home to India for some family time. Veronica Martinez came out of onboarding and immediately used her parallel experience to take complete ownership of her Key Account role. She was able to book 3x more discos with one of her brands in a single quarter than our team did all of last year. We are all human, and none of us get it right every day. I am very proud of what my team has accomplished this quarter, but the thing I appreciate most is that they all have grace for my shortcomings, and allow me the privilege of serving them daily. Now to move on to the abundance that spring (Q2) has ahead...and there might just be an incredible harvest heading into Q3 if we get this right. #recognition, #salesperformance #servantleadership #leadership #sales

First week of Nooks in the books!! During this week, I accomplished the following: ✅ Met one of our Founders in Boston  ✅ Had 1:1s with majority of the GTM team (they’re awesome!) ✅ Attended a Product session and Sales Team trainings ✅ Checked out the reporting of live customer trials ✅ Listened to many many many gong calls 😅 ✅ Sat in on teams live call blocks in our virtual sales floor ✅ Initiated my own cold calls using our very own dialer ✅ Streamlined my discovery talk track ✅ Worked closely with Patrick Donnelly on mock discos, and sat in on his demos ✅ Witnessed the team light up the “Winnings” channel!!!  Kudos to Kevin Kim, Shara Davoodi, Marcus Babcock, Patrick Donnelly, Skylar Werneth 📞 , Terrance Godfrey II you guys are crushing it!!! The buzz around outbound sales is louder than ever. With more teams transitioning to remote or hybrid setups, there's a heightened demand for attention. -Account Executives now find themselves as full-cycle reps, tasked with generating their own pipeline -Sales Development Representatives are required to make more calls to ramp up meeting volumes just to hit targets -And let's be honest, those call blocks can be quite boring… Nooks serves as the ultimate solution to address these challenges and more! I am so excited for next week and for what’s to come here 🚀

I first saw Jamal Reimer speak at the Sales Success Summit in Austin a few years back and after, I just had to learn more from him. We were trying to move upmarket and booking meetings with managers wasn't really moving the needle for our deals sizes and things were taking way longer to close. We soon realized that we couldn't keep talking to executives the same way we always had in the past. Speeding up workflows, making reps lives easier, and having good data wasn't enough. We had to try to solve an ongoing business problem and we needed to do a better job of proving it. We also started teaming up on some of our bigger opportunities so we could connect with more stakeholders. We'd split up who we'd go after and with what types of outreach and content. Then when we brought in our first 6-figure deal, the next one was soon after. We increased our average deal size from $8k to $22k the next year.
