Taking a break to study LLMs. Co-founded Canopy (37signals spin-off). Prev. led product & web at IFTTT
I'm in a bit of a time crunch here with my personal projects, and I want to spend the least amount of time on Rails things to focus on the AI parts, so I bought @excid3's Jump Start Pro. It's well worth the price. All the big things are well-designed (accounts with multiple members, API clients, 2FA, social accounts, great billing system, etc.), tons of good Stimulus controllers, and a lot of new little things I haven't used before like dev containers. Code is also well organized with good naming for everything. I found it worth the price even if used just as a reference for ideas. Especially after having built or maintained these exact same features multiple times in different projects in my ~18 years of Rails. It's also particularly helpful for people starting with Rails as well – since everything pretty much follows Rails standards.
