If you're a freelancer, one of your main goals will be
...to land clients.
Come on, be honest! After all, without clients, you wouldn't have a business!
So, if you're not getting the desired results, you must ask yourself what you are doing or NOT doing.
When talking to some freelancers struggling with this exact problem, I noticed that they were not networking enough. Networking is still one of the best ways to land new clients ( that and referrals, but that will be a later post).
By attending industry events, participating in online forums and social media groups, and connecting with other professionals in your field, because they are not all competitors, you'll be able to get your name out there and start building relationships with potential clients or even gain future referrals ( hold yer horses again, that's a different post)
Remember that networking takes time and effort—you won't see results overnight. But if you're consistent and put yourself out there, I know it is scary, but I promise you will eventually start to see results.
Do you disagree?
Or maybe you already network in some fab places that you want to share below👇
