See your dream job but don’t meet the requirements? Apply anyway. Just do it. What’s the worst that can happen? I once cold DM’d the CPO of a unicorn startup because he was looking for a chief of staff. I didn’t meet their years of experience requirement but I wrote about why I’d be a good fit. He replied instantly and asked me to send my CV directly to his work email. The interview got scheduled in just a couple days later. I didn’t get the job in the end, but hey, at least he gave me a shot. #jobinterviews #productmanagement

Apply to the job anyways even if you don’t think you meet the qualifications❗️ This was advice I needed to see, TODAY Even though I was someone who grinding through college to get 3 internships and nearly 20 professional certifications, I constantly talk myself out of applying to roles that would be a good fit I think, I don’t have enough experience or I didn’t apply RIGHT after the job was posted so I probably won’t get a chance But those are all shots that I never took No one knows how far I would have actually gotten if I just applied There’s a statistic that women only apply to roles that they’re 100% qualified for vs men apply to roles they’re 60% qualified Whether that’s still true - females, new grads, everyone - believe in yourself, apply to that job anyways ⭐️ #postgraduation #newgrads #justdoit
