“When Jesus bought you with his blood on the cross, you became a part of his bride—the church. You became one with him. This is what it means to abide in Christ. You’re connected with him in a way that changes who you are, and he is giving you the power and sustenance to do what he is calling you to do.” Scott Pace and Shane Pruitt, Calling Out the Called: Discipling Those Called to Ministry Leadership (Nashville, TN: B&H Publishing, 2022), 35. #ministryleadership #calling #called #jesusblood #abidinginhim

The belief that we are indispensable is nonsense. To imagine that without a particular ministry, founder, director, or pastor the work of Jesus would be seriously impoverished is self-deception. People who worship Christian leaders do them as great a disservice as those who crucify them. The celebrity culture of modern evangelicalism hasn’t only hurt churches; it has also hurt pastors and other Christian leaders. It has created a subculture in which some, thinking they are “God’s man,” come to believe they are above scrutiny and accountability. Some who began as sincere servants wishing to honor Christ and love others end as privileged, entitled, self-absorbed, and unaccountable scoundrels who imagine they are somehow above the moral standards that apply to regular people. Often people in churches and ministries have flattered such men and fed their wrong thinking and behaviors instead of speaking the truth in love and confronting them about their sin. When that happens, everyone suffers. Randy Alcorn

Here are the five(5) signs to recognize a Christian✨ Are you a Christian? Or can you recognize one? There's more to bearing Biblical's name There's more to going to church. And there's more to belonging to a Christian family. Are you truly a Christian? So how do you recognize Christians? Let's go through Mark 16 vs 15-20, you will see from Mark 16 vs 17-18, the signs Jesus said it will follow them that believe (Christians) Here are the five (5) signs mentioned; 1. They shall cast out devils in Jesus' name. 2. They shall speak in new tongues. 3. They shall take up serpents. 4. If they take any deadly things, it shall not hurt them 5. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Now look through these. Are you a Christian? Or as someone who truly believes (Christians), are you exercising your rights? Think about that! ✔️Respost if this resonates with your spirit. Happy Sunday ✨ PS: Drop the topic for today's service and the major text you had if you truly attended the service. 📷: Me photobombing my fellowship members' picture😂 #sunday #wordsthatcomestoyou.

American society thinks they’ve heard enough Christians—people they’ve decided are rigid, judgmental, hypocritical bigots. And, since we’ve reduced Christian ministry to explanation and oration, we keep trying to teach them the right way to think, believe, and act. Did Jesus do it this way? Consider the Campaign of Nain [Luke 7:11-17] Jesus approaches the town and sees a funeral procession. A widow is broken over the death of her child. People are in despair. What does Jesus do? As he sizes up the situation, his heart goes out to her. He walks up, touches the casket, raises the boy to life, and hands him to his mother. That’s it! No altar call. No self-promotion. No advertisement about next Sunday’s meeting. Jesus doesn’t tell them to do anything. Jesus brings the Kingdom and because he does, people are blessed. He is a messenger of good. An “ev-angel.” And they all get it. Their conclusion is stunning: “God has come to help his people.” [Luke 7:16] Is that what people conclude when you and I come to town? –Kirk Kirlin, Novo Mission’s Activated Team, from the book “Leadership Courage,” more at https://lnkd.in/gpzvYkW #leadership #courage #courageousleadership #leadershipcourage #Jesus #pastor #discipleship #ActivatedTeams #NovoMission

In this video, I'm discussing the role of a pastor's wife in spiritual leadership. In addition to serving as an example to their spouse and children, #pastorswives are charged with disciple-making and evangelism. As a #pastoswife, your role is to use your gifts to serve others. You can do this by serving as a role model, teaching your children about #god, and evangelizing in your community. Through your service, you'll help to strengthen the pastor's ministry and build up the body of Christ. 💪🏾🛐 #faith #motivation #womeninministry #personalgrowth #beingwomeninministry #christianmotivation

DEVOTIONAL – Why Do Christians Fight So Much? As you read today’s inspirational message, we pray that this message will bless you, inform you, and that you will be the better for having read it. If blessed by this message, please share so that others may be blessed as well. Amen. Have an awesome day in the Lord. Continued blessings. Why Do Christians Fight So Much? aDevotion.org JOHN 13:34-35 NKJ 34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." Instead of being known for love, Christians are more likely to be known for disagreements and fighting with other Christians. Why? Those who fight are displaying their immaturity. Children can be expected to squabble over insignificant things, but adults should not. Yet even Christian leaders often fight with other Christian leaders. It is the devil's strategy to get believers in strife because it opens the door to him. Do you really want to open the door to the devil? JAMES 3:16 KJV 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. God allows us to face the temptation of strife so we can overcome and learn to walk in love. We are continually given the opportunity to walk in love. God's primary concern now is preparing us to inhabit eternity with Him. His plan is to make us like Jesus (Romans 8:29). To become like Jesus, we must learn to resist the temptation to not walk in love. SAY THIS: With God's help, I will walk in love. I refuse to fight and be in strife with other Christians. #KWMinistries #dailydevotional

#liveoutward. What does that mean? #liveoutward is a call to action. It’s a challenge for believers in Jesus Christ to share their faith with others in tangible, real-world ways. A challenge to believers to be the light we were called to be outside the church walls and into the world. We challenge you, fellow Christians, to #liveoutward. Will you?
