I teach successful men and women over 40 how to LOOK GREAT & LIVE GREAT at the same time with a no BS SUSTAINABLE approach! Recently chosen by AARP Magazine as one of the top 5 Fitness Influencers over 50!
Everyone has a different caloric requirement. Understanding your needs and then modifying them based on your goal is the only way to succeed. Using a food service to make generic meals for you without considering your specific requirements will not work. Also, this lazy approach isn't sustainable. If you can't prepare your own food how are you going to maintain any weightloss? Are you going to pay for a food service for life? You can make meals exactly to your requirements for much less money than you would paying for pre-made meals. Don't know what to eat or how to cook, invest in how to learn and you'll save a fortune on having someone else doing it for you. I not only teach my clients how to eat for their goals but also how to cook too! If you're ready to take full responsibility for your food then reach out to me today and I'll ensure you have the tools you need to do so! #fitnessover40lifestyle #darrinsense #whatwoulddarrindo #onlinecoach #healthycooking

I kind of figure that folks who are following me here already have figured out food and meal planning, but here's something that works for me if you're still streamlining your system: Over the weekend I write down my available food and meals for the week on a sticky note and put it on the fridge. Here's what this accomplishes for me: 1) Do I have leftovers that need to be eaten soon? I put those at the top with the word "leftovers" 2) Is there something I'm planning that I don't have ingredients for? Better plan to do that one after a grocery trip (and make sure I have other meals planned early in the week that don't need a grocery trip.) 3) Are there meals that need a lot of cooking or prep? Making the list forces me to think through my coming week to figure out when that will happen. 4) Is there prep I can do now over the weekend to make it easier? 5) Is there enough on my list to get through the week? 6) During the week i check my list often to remind myself of what I have and what I intended to eat. Because of my list we have very little food waste. 7) When we've eaten something and it's gone, I cross it off. 8) A sticky note is a low bar and small and analog, so it's no big deal. What's your method? #mealplanning #organization

Smoothie for breakfast? No thanks. A lot of options are designed to satisfy a quick craving, but have me reaching for a snack by 10am. There's gotta be a way to fuel up quickly, without sacrificing taste, sanity, or my energy levels. Turns out, a few simple shifts changed my whole workday. Now, I've got the focus and stamina to tackle what matters. Want to know how I did it? 1. Protein Power: Turns out, nailing protein early changed everything. Things like eggs, beef, or cottage cheese do me well. 2. Flavor is King: If it doesn't taste good, I won't eat it. Simple spices or even hot sauce add that extra kick. 3. Quick Wins: I don't have an hour to cook. Looking for protein options at a restaurant keep my goals in check. I don't always eat breakfast, but when I do, protein is the hero. It fuels me for the day and keeps my goals in check. It's a simple switch to make you feel fuller, longer. P.S. I love carbs. I just like to save them for the end of the day. #protein
