Easter is a season brimming with delightful traditions, highlighted by #ChocolateEggs 🐣 and the iconic #EasterBunny 🐇. Exploring the origins of these customs uncovers a fascinating mix of stories and practices from a variety of cultures and historical periods. Originating from tales that celebrate spring and renewal, the Easter Bunny was traditionally seen as a giver of eggs to children who behaved well. Over time, this role has expanded, and now the bunny also delivers chocolate and a range of Easter gifts, establishing it as a central figure in holiday festivities. The tradition of decorating eggs symbolizes the theme of new beginnings, adding depth to our celebrations.
Keeping traditions alive is essential. Selecting the right packaging is critical. #SustainablePackaging not only preserves the quality of the chocolate and extends the lifespan of the food, but it also contributes to environmental sustainability through its recyclability. Here’s to an Easter filled with joy, treats, and happiness for all.

Why we love local area marketing strategies to engage communities 👩❤️👩 :
🤝 Increased local engagement: Foster stronger connections within the community.
🤝 Targeted marketing: Reach specific audiences effectively and efficiently.
🤝 Enhanced brand awareness: Boost visibility and recognition among local consumers.
🤝 Building trust and credibility: Establish a reputable presence in the community.
🤝 Generating valuable insights: Gather data to inform future strategies and decisions.
🚀 The Moreton Money Buy Local Activation Campaign exemplifies the success of local marketing strategies. By engaging 62 local businesses and airing 84 commercial and promo ads, they reached 76,800 people with a total of 260,400 impacts.
🚀 This four-week campaign involved local radio commercials, the Hot 91.1 FM street promo team engaging with the community, and social media, creating significant community engagement and awareness.
We loved seeing communities activated, families engaging in treasure hunt delights and prizes, further deepening engagement and awareness but more importantly #supportinglocal businesses and generating sales in areas that need a boost.
This campaign's success highlights the power of targeted, community-focused strategies in delivering measurable results. 📈
So enjoyed collaborating with City of Moreton BayMatchsticks Marketing Agency and @hot91.1FM Christine WilsonGrant Ferry on this awesome project. ⭐️

🦃 We’re reminded as we gather around our Thanksgiving tables today, that this tradition started over 400 years ago.
The first Thanksgiving is generally recognized to have first started as a celebratory feast during the autumn of 1621 in what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts.
🍁 Attending this 3-day feast was over 90 Wampanoag and 52 English settlers in a celebration of successful harvest.
Imagine the scene: the Wampanoag arriving with deer, and tables laden with local vegetables like onions, beans, lettuce, and a special corn porridge, sweetened perhaps with the last of their molasses – a far cry from our sweet cranberry relish, which wouldn't appear until 50 years later because the Mayflower’s sugar supply all but ran out.
🌾This feast was more than just a meal; it was a blend of cultures and traditions. While our tables today might not feature the abundant seafood of New England's shores, like mussels, or the hollowed-out pumpkins filled with milk, honey, and spices, we share the same spirit of gratitude. The colonists, having endured a harsh winter where many perished, were outnumbered by their Wampanoag guests, yet they came together in thanks. 🙏
🌞 Interestingly, some historians suggest that the first Thanksgiving might have occurred in Saint Augustine, Florida, in 1565, where Spanish settlers shared a meal with the Timucan people.
Regardless of the location and exact timing of that first Thanksgiving, the essence remains the same - a celebration of harvest, community, and gratitude.
🍂As we enjoy our own traditions, let's remember the rich history of this day. From the humble beginnings of a shared meal between different cultures to our modern gatherings, Thanksgiving continues to be a time to appreciate the bounty and blessings of the year.
Everyone from the MAPS family wishes you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

To Day is National BBQ day (US)
Although the concept of barbecuing did not originate in America, the activity has become an essential part of American culture today.
The history of barbecuing in the U.S. goes back to colonial times where any celebration was incomplete without a cookout. After the Revolutionary War was won and the first bridge was built over the Missouri River, barbecue celebrations erupted all over the nation.
Even the American presidents are famous for hosting massive barbecues during times of success and on days of special observances. In fact, George Washington’s diary is said to have referenced a barbecue event that lasted for three days — that’s how deeply rooted barbecuing is in the country’s history!
Barbecues are a White House tradition thanks to President Lyndon B. Johnson who started this trend by hosting the first-ever barbecue in the presidential headquarters. The food items served at the event included delicious Texas-style barbecue wings.
