This is a quick pause to express gratitude and share lessons learned... We've Graduated from the Funding Lab Program at The Founder Institute! 🎉 Over the past three months, we at Clinspace have worked closely with the Founder Institute's Silicon Valley HQ team to drive our business forward. The journey was both challenging and rewarding. It was an opportunity to showcase our vision to many accomplished investors and industry leaders. Alongside this, we had also to quickly act on implementing valuable feedback, allowing us to fine-tune our presentations and some parts of our business operations. Here is a curated list of practical highlights I've gained: -Focus on metrics: Throughout this process, both company-specific and networking metrics were meticulously analyzed. -Time management tools for the long run: At times, my schedule was the tightest it has ever been. I used tools like Planner from Microsoft to map every task I needed to do and used the Focus Keeper App (Pomodoro Technique) to be able to get them done. -Mastering relationship management: I've learned the importance of utilizing CRM tools and relationship management software to maintain valuable connections. During the program, I familiarized myself with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, taking advantage of its AI copilot and metrics features. - Confidence, assertiveness, and authenticity: It's crucial to remember that people invest in people. Both clients and investors respond to effective communication practices that establish mutually beneficial interactions. As I look to the future, I feel much more well-equipped to position Clinspace as a leading company in Brazil's healthcare sector. Let's go!✨

Heading into this week with renewed energy & focus. Why? Because last week we hosted customers for our Customer Advisory Board event. It was incredibly fulfilling and enlightening. We have amazing customers who are smart, know and love this industry and want to drive change and innovation. Despite the event being super quick, it did not disappoint in remembering a few key learnings. 1. Customers are strategic partners: They want to learn together, strategize together, and are passionate about driving the industry forward together. 2. Customers voice matters: When making hard decisions, run them by your customers first...you’ll be surprised at how much you learn. 3. Talk with customers, not at customers: Build effective relationships when you talk together and find commonalities. Don’t spend time talking at customers…you’ll inevitably miss the important nuggets. 4. Listen to customers: They are the practioners and the champions. Listen, even when it’s hard, that is how you grow and learn. 5. Wow, what a cool experience at the SaaSOpen (Next: Sept 5th, NYC) in Austin last week! ✨ I delivered a keynote address, here’s what I shared with the group- hope it helps you: And when I say “group” - that’s underselling it. This was over 1,000 of the best and brightest founders, CEOs, and leaders in SaaS from all over the globe. I heard from some excellent speakers on how they overcame challenges and grew their companies. I met and connected with some incredible innovators and leaders. And I was energized by how much passion host Nathan Latka and his team have for helping the SaaS community. So here’s what I shared in my talk, three things you can do on your sales calls that will get you closed deals tomorrow: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹. If your buyer doesn’t feel horrible about their problem, they won’t take action. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. Sometimes buyers know they need to act, but they don’t know your product will work for them. Connect the dots to win. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. Your buyers don’t know the best way to buy your product. You do. Take control to ensure they get the best information in an efficient manner. If you employ these things, you will see success. Like my client Robby Zehner who went from an 18% close rate to a 67% close rate on his demos by doing these things I taught him. During a sales demo, the prospect asks me outta nowhere: “What’s your working relation like with the owner(s) of the company.” Me: “Why do you ask?” Him: “Cz typically what I have seen with software companies is better the culture and employee-founder relationship, better the product and customer service”. This got me a little too curious! On looking up: Companies rated reasonably well on Glassdoor do seem to be rated well on G2 & Capterra compared to their competitors. Coincidence?
