Colorado recently enacted the Colorado Artificial Intelligence Act, positioning itself as a leader in AI regulation. However, recognizing the need for further refinement, Adam Burrows , Brad Feld, Bryan Leach, Chris Erickson, David Cohen, Kent Thiry, Kirk Holland, Seth Levine, Seth Sternberg and myself have pushed our state officials to refine the law before the February 2026 deadline. We have gathered over 200 signatures so far from Colorado’s top Investors, Community leaders, and C Level executives in Scale-ups/Startups, who also want to see this law refined. Governor Jared Polis, Attorney General Phil Weiser, and Senate Majority Leader Robert Rodriguez have announced plans to revise the law to address industry concerns and provide greater clarity. I applaud them for collaborating with us to address the unintended consequences of the current version of the bill. If you would like to see this Act revised as well, please send me a message with your email and we will send over our document for your signature. 1moYes, Dan I would like to see it I have read the Colorado Law and prepared some comments and some ideas that companies need to address https://aiuserforum.com/ai-news/coloai/ However, it should be considered that other states will pass their own AI laws and with Federal efforts unlikely in the short term or ever, states rights' still remain in effect and companies need to max their efforts a bit like bank "stress tests" to accommodate this and other laws. email is cross@gocross.com cc: Peter Adams Dan Murray
