Feedback 101
Feedback is crucial to the success of a team, it can make or break them.
So, as a leader, you must equip yourself with wise, on-point, and positive words when commenting on your team’s input.
BE WISE in choosing the right words. Provide feedback professionally and don't let emotions affect your language.
BE ON POINT in your message. Address one agenda at a time to avoid confusion. And point out an issue that you want them to solve.
Lastly, BE POSITIVE. It is essential to sound appreciative or sympathetic, regardless of how left-field their input may be. Use words that will challenge them to do better.
Remember, providing helpful feedback can really help the team improve their performance.
