It’s Tank Trouble Tuesday! A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northeast region requested a TankCam inspection of a 8,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded. The TankCam inspection showed sludge, sediment and debris on the bottom of the tank. Residue is also visible along the side walls of the tank. Liquid drips are seen coming from the tank top and a possible crack is found along the side wall of the tank. TankCam® video inspection services from Tanknology help you detect UST problems with no need for excavation or manned entry. TankCam is patent pending. Request a quote: https://lnkd.in/gFy2nRZr

At Englobe we are proud to partner with Tanknology and Austin Gilchrist to bring this amazing service to Canada. Have you ever wondered what the interior of your tank actually looks like? Corrosion, cracking, blistering, de-lamination that can compromise your fuel and potentially lead to catastrophic consequences. This is notoriously hard to pinpoint, getting a good clear look at what’s happening inside your tank is traditionally difficult and labor intensive until now. - Pin point the cause of a failed tank tightness test - Verify conditions before and after a tank cleaning - Locate unused riser openings and operational deficiencies - Structural problems of steel and fiberglass tanks - Post burial inspections for new tanks #englobestories #petroleum #fuelmanagement
It’s Tank Trouble Tuesday! A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded. The TankCam inspection showed an active water ingress through a crack in the endcap. Residue was observed throughout tank and flaking and peeling were found. After the product was removed, the TankCam inspection located the source of the ingress. TankCam® video inspection services from Tanknology help you detect UST problems with no need for excavation or manned entry. TankCam is patent pending. Request a quote: https://lnkd.in/gFy2nRZr

Ensuring the integrity of geomembrane installations is critical for environmental protection and infrastructure longevity. Vacuum boxing extrusion welds is a key process in detecting leaks early and preventing future issues. This method provides a reliable means of identifying weak points in welds, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards. By investing in thorough leak detection now, we can avoid costly repairs and environmental damage down the line. #Geomembrane #LeakDetection #EnvironmentalProtection #QualityControl

FAQ: Is this skimmer approved for use and if so where? The device meets all EPA requirements for skimmers/surface drains, as well as requirements for use in most states. We have taken an additional step to have the Marlee Float third party tested and the flow rates verified by a Professional Engineer, so design professionals have assurance that our product functions as published. We also have written approvals from many areas, with more pending. The Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) is a portable and easy-to-use device that is commonly used in site investigation to measure the in-situ strength of soil. It consists of a steel cone that is driven into the ground by a weighted hammer. The depth of penetration is measured for a given number of hammer blows, and this information is used to calculate the soil strength. The DCP is a versatile tool that can be used to investigate a variety of soil types and conditions. It is particularly well-suited for investigating shallow depths, up to about 800 mm. The DCP is also relatively inexpensive and quick to use, making it a cost-effective site investigation tool. The DCP is often used in conjunction with other site investigation methods, such as boreholes and trial pits. This information can be used to develop a comprehensive understanding of the subsurface conditions at a site.
