Happy Tuesday everyone! Did you know that concrete dumpsters play a crucial role in promoting sustainability across construction projects? Here's how these specialized containers make a significant impact: Efficient Waste Management ✅: From excess concrete to demolition debris, our dumpsters ensure efficient collection and disposal, keeping our worksites organized and minimizing environmental impact. Environmental Warriors 🌳: These dumpsters assist with reducing landfill waste. They help to prevent concrete runoff into local waterways, safeguarding aquatic ecosystems and habitats for wildlife. Promoting Recycling ♻️: Our commitment goes beyond waste management. These dumpsters enable us to segregate materials for recycling, supporting resource conservation and reducing our carbon footprint. Community Impact 💪: By adopting sustainable practices, we contribute positively to the communities we serve. Cleaner construction practices not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of our projects but also improve overall environmental quality. At MMC, sustainability isn't just a goal, it's a commitment embedded into every aspect of what we do. Together, we can continue building responsibly for a greener, healthier future! 🌍💪 #LandManagement #LandDevelopment #ReduceWaste #BuildGreen #Pgh

What happens to our waste? At #verge23 I had an opportunity to visit a waste management facility run by a remarkable company called GreenWaste. They collect, sort, recycle, compost, and minimize landfill waste for the city of San Jose and other places in California. Walking through their state-of-the-art facility that uses robotic separation technology was an enlightening but also sobering experience. A few things I learnt: #reducewaste we generate too much waste in the USA. And rarely think of what happens to it when the waste management company takes it away. Unfortunately, it is a messy, toxic, and stinky subject, which most of us ignore when it works well, but cannot tolerate if the system fails us. I will be a lot more conscious about reducing my waste footprint in the future. #recycle a lot of valuable recyclable stuff gets thrown into the general garbage, which only a few facilities like GreenWaste take the effort to sort through and recover. It takes a few minutes extra every week to place the right items in the right bins, to save the economy billions of dollars while benefiting the environment. #recyclability unfortunately, we also saw a lot of unrecyclable items in the recycling bins, that requires a lot of manpower and cost to remove before the valuable stuff can be sent for reprocessing. It takes just a few minutes of effort to read this excellent guide by the #EPA https://lnkd.in/gss6WFs3 Thank you April Menes, Fredrick Ghai Jerame Renteria and the GreenWaste team for the tour and all you do for the environment. https://lnkd.in/ggjk-6-s

As our infrastructure ages and environmental sustainability becomes paramount, it's time to explore innovative solutions. Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) is a game-changer in road rehabilitation. 🚧 CIR is not just about repaving roads; it's about rethinking how we approach infrastructure maintenance. As we look towards a more sustainable and cost-effective future, Cold In-Place Recycling is a compelling solution. If you're involved in infrastructure, transportation, or urban planning, it's worth considering CIR for your next project. Here is a video of our in person demo that RSA California put on a few weeks ago in the City of Martinez. It was great to have everyone on-site to see this product. MCK Services, Inc. ♻️🏗️ Did you know that Construction and Demolition (C&D) wastes are significant byproducts of the construction and demolition industries? 🏡🚜 These may include packaging materials and land-clearing debris. However, what might seem like minor waste considerably impacts our environment. 🌍💔 Improper disposal practices can lead to cumulative harm to our surroundings. 🔄🌱 Sustainable C&D practices benefit the environment and contribute to long-term cost savings and project efficiency. When you use KC Dumpster for your dumpster services, we recycle the waste from your construction project in an efficient and eco-friendly manner. Collection Process: When you use KC Dumpster, all materials on site can be placed into a single dumpster for collection. Material Sorting: Upon arrival, the materials are meticulously sorted to segregate recyclables like concrete, wood, metals, asphalt, and other materials. Recycling and Repurposing: The recyclable materials are then processed through cutting-edge technologies to be transformed into reusable products or repurposed for various construction projects. Responsible Disposal: Any non-recyclable or hazardous materials are disposed of following strict environmental regulations to prevent harm to the ecosystem. Let's build a future where progress is synonymous with responsibility! 🏗️♻️ #KCDumpster #DumpsterRental #ConstructionInsights #SustainableBuilding #WasteManagement #BuildingResponsibly

JRMA is excited to announce the completion of the Deschutes County Diversion Master Plan project in Bend and Redmond, Oregon! JRMA was contracted by Deschutes County, Oregon, to develop a comprehensive Diversion Master Plan aimed at improving waste diversion infrastructure. The project focused on enhancing the Knott Landfill Recycling and Transfer Facility in Bend and Negus Transfer Station in Redmond with material processing systems. The Diversion Master Plan provides a detailed blueprint for the County to buildout new processing infrastructure for source separated recyclables, recovery of C&D materials, and the composting of organics. Implementation of the master plan will continue Deschutes Couty leadership role in the development and management of a financially and environmentally sustainable solid waste management system. #sustainability #environmentalplanning #collaboration #diversionmasterplan #wasteinfrastructure #SustainablePractices #environmentalimpact #JRMA #solidwaste

Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) is the most energy efficient way to rehabilitate an asphalt road. Projects that utilize CIR reduce GHG emissions by up to 90%. The entire process is performed in-place, eliminating the need to consume tremendous amounts of diesel to move materials on and off of a project. CIR also recycles and reuses 100% of the old, tired asphalt road to make a new cold mix layer with a design life of 25 years plus. The CIR process, when used on the right road, at the right time, is a cheaper alternative than conventional construction. Contact the team Midstate Reclamation and Trucking, Inc. to learn how the CIR process can lower GHG emissions and save you money. #coldinplace #recycle #reuse #gogreensavegreen
