This is so true. And a good reason to go passwordless and phishing-resistant with a YubiKey.
Folks this is why you should use a password manager (not the heavily advertised cloud based ones, I'm talking about a local solution like Keepass) And most of these password managers also have password generation tools so you don't have to spend time thinking about a new password either.
Before I met the old MacBook, it also asked me for an old password to remove my account. With red rows, I tried the button multiple times. Until someone told me you needed to input an old password,. Yes. I've input an old pass to remove. But I'm thinking about why Apple asked it. So funny. Then a new person tried me for another situation with a new MacBook. ^^' (relationship) I don't explain for them and show this person. I want to say that You should think about big challenges when you're alone. Not with others. (*) Because someone can think you cannot read Red Row... ^^ Why? They suggested you as others... This is right. Because we are human and will wrong once day. So let's make it above (*).
Oh good… not just me
Very relatable. This is funny but also a point of concern for cybersecurity.
Man the tough times I had with these requirements. Add this too. Should have 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase. Can't contain special characters. Must have a number. Must have a symbol(With Examples). Demo from One Plus(Makes life happy 😋 )
Your memory should be very very sharp to remember ,even if you have set 100s of passwords at different places, if you can't make use of 2FA or MFA authentication ( Thumbprint or Face) Biometrics.
