A friendly reminder that October is Mental Health Month, and SafeAssure has been stepping up, as well as out and about, to support a cause close to our hearts. We're excited to have been taking part in the Black Dog Institute's 'One Foot Forward' walk for mental health. 🚶♀️ 🚶♂️
The fantastic news is you can still help raise awareness and funds 😊
Here's how you can get involved and support our cause:
Donate: If you can, donate to this worthy cause via https://lnkd.in/gikCUuaa
Share: Spread the word and help us raise funds to assist Australians impacted by mental illness. Your support can make a significant difference.
Walk, Run, or Roll: Throughout October, walk, run, or roll, and log your kilometers for Mental Health Month. Let's walk together, stand together, and be stronger together.
Why This Matters
Mental health affects us all, directly or indirectly. In Australia, 1 in 5 people experiences a mental illness each year, and a staggering 9 lives are lost to suicide daily. Sadly, 60% of those living with mental illness don't seek help.
At SafeAssure, we've seen the impact of mental health issues firsthand. Many of our team members have been affected by it, or know someone who has. This is why we're committed to making a difference by participating in this worthy campaign.
The Impact So Far
Over 11,080 people have already joined this movement, raising an incredible $576,565 for mental health. But there's so much more we can achieve together.
Join Us in Making a Change
Let's show people with mental illness that we're in this together. Your contributions will help the Black Dog Institute provide groundbreaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services to those who need them most.
Every step counts, and every donation makes a difference.
Together, we can create a brighter future for mental health in our community. Thank you for your support!
