Direct2 has gained some business transporting organs, mostly livers it seems, on our Diamond DA62s in the Southwestern United States in recent months. The continued use of our aircraft for these transport missions on regional routes think Vegas-Scottsdale and Phoenix-Burbank, tells me the client is getting what they need from our operation in terms of performance, safety, and price point. Frankly, I'm surprised, only because I have had no luck in my inquiries to other organ transport organizations whom I've approached in the past. The feedback I've received has been nothing short of dismissive...we don't fly fast enough, big enough airplanes to be of use to these organizations. Yet I've now seen that is not the case. 🌐 Seeking Insights from my network...  How can we provide value to other organ transport organizations? Triple Bottom Line! We all heard of the concord #airplane ✈ who served on routes between Europe and North America for a certain people class. This aircraft offered luxurious experience 🌟 for those who are keen to explore a prestigious journey with supersonic speed. Nevertheless, the concord flight ticket was also expensive, and the supersonic flying speed was exclusively permitted beyond urban regions to prevent disturbance caused by shockwaves and shattered windows of the buildings! 🌆 The #concord has faced alot of hurdles with additional regulations, in which the business was not exhibiting the intended profits. In July 2000, the concord crashed while taking off from Paris, in which along with other factors, the business retired few years after in 2003. Airlander is rethinking the skies and the future of logistics. Conventional air freight might be fast, but it comes with a high cost and a high carbon footprint. For large cargo or remote destinations, today’s air transport won't do the whole job. Surface transport can take weeks and be prone to delay and disruption. Because of this, the vast majority of world freight volume goes over the surface and only the most time-sensitive 1% travels by air. Airlander has the ability to fill this gap. Airport System An airport is either an intermediate or terminal point for an aircraft on the air portion of a trip. In simple functional terms, the facility must be designed to enable an aircraft to land and take off. In between these two operations, the aircraft may, if required, unload and load payload and crew and be serviced. It is customary to divide the airport’s operation between the airside and landside functions shown in the simplified system . More detailed system diagrams are provided for passenger and cargo processing . The overall system diagram indicates that after approach and landing, an aircraft uses the runway, taxiway, and apron prior to docking at a parking position, where its payload is processed through the terminal to the access/egress system. Departing passengers make their way through the landside operation to the departure gates.

Air traffic control aims to move aircraft safely and efficiently. Controllers keep aircraft set distances apart while moving them from airport to airport using set routes.
