It’s one of our favorite days of the year -- Happy National Intern Day!   We welcomed 14 interns to our ranks in North America this summer. Now in its eighth year, our internship program has hosted 122 exceptional students in our facilities across the U.S. and Canada. During their 12 weeks with us, students gain hands-on experience by being embedded in our operations and working on projects in quality, process improvement, engineering, production planning, safety, sustainability and more.   As much as our interns take away from this program, we also find value in learning from them. They are invaluable resources to Crown each year, bringing insightful ideas and new perspectives to the table. Those mutual benefits drive our continued commitment to investing in and empowering our future leaders, providing them knowledge of the different projects and responsibilities found in fast-paced manufacturing industry careers and real-world office environments. We are very grateful for our interns’ time at Crown each year and are excited to see what they accomplish not only this summer, but in the future! #nationalinternday #intern

Produced locally in our Parma, Italy plant, this creative campaign relies on our Colorful Accents™ technology, a complex manufacturing technique that enables multiple print designs in one run. This variable printing capability, combined with our High-Quality Print (HQP) technology, enhances Estathé’s detailed graphics for an effective summer promotion that leverages a sustainable, responsible container. Today, we kicked off our World Environment Day celebration, through which our plant and office locations across the globe are initiating a range of sustainability-related projects, from environmental and social contributions to health and wellness or educational activities.
