Sapient notion and compelling selling point but inevitably its Industry dependent. I understand crossover is a talent agency at its core. Line and sinker for the biggest fish. For most people though (currently) remote work is not possible. Construction, manufacturing, healthcare, emergency services, hospitality, transport. You need to first be in an industry (like tech) that would require your physical presence to be of irrelevance, only your cognitive presence. I'm in a position (property / construction) that partly I can work remotely. My consultancy services are of high demand. But that was a result of 2 decades of persistent technical learning. I am the exception not the rule. And my leadership roles to a degree need me to be seen. Effective Leadership in my industry requires respect to be earnt. Especially in developing countries where beliefs are traditional and conservative. You can't lead a team to build a bridge in China or Egypt from a zoom call. Leadership needs to be seen and heard to drive productivity. Stoicism and steadfastness cannot be purveyed via zoom. Crisis management is an art form. In dire times subordinates need to see leadership. Remote is a beautiful notion...complete homologation? Only for the few.

Breaking news: work life balance doesn't exist at the office. Does it? 😅

I just want to share my personal opinion. After covid we all wake up into a new reality. We finally come to the mass realization that we can do our work from home the same as in the office. But not only that we are happier because we don't have to fight over traffic every morning just to make it early enough for your 8:00 a.m. meeting. Life become simpler and more organize just by going from your bedroom into your office room. This is not only beneficial for the employee, for the worker but also for the companies as a whole. Think about of not having to pay for office space, office supplies, electricity, and all the overhead expenses. Let's look even more deep into the importance of POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION to our PACHAMAMA (translation) for those that doesn't recognize the name, for our Mother Earth, for OUR PLANET. Tell me, What better way but to stop our carbon footprint on energy consumption that by no driving to work everyday? This is the only conscious way to lower our energy consumption and help our planet in alignment with all Government Agenda for 2030

I gave up on Crossover, those tests they use are impossible to solve in that little time! They are loosing so many good people because of that! Someone that can solve those tests doesn't determine if they are more capable or not on what they do!

Crossover For last 9 years, I have been #doing a #remote #work here on #LinkedIn on daily bases although there is no salary for me But I am happy because some activities present for me to do on daily bases It means activities as a job are more important in human life than salary because it helps me don't think about my personal life It means during 9 years, if I become more happier than my past life behind it my activities as a remote work hidden here on LinkedIn It helped me in 2 ways 1. My concept about life and me as a human becomes the most clear to increase my talent level due to which, I have an ability to give the correct meaning of all words according to the subject to make your concept about it more clear than present to make it easy and to get the solution of problems present in it 2.
