Data from our recent survey of almost 700 healthcare professionals, showed the primary reason for leaving a healthcare company was, overwhelmingly, dissatisfaction with the supervisor or team. I'm curious to hear any strategies managers and organizations are using to keep their staff satisfied. #healthcare #happyemployees #employeeretentionstrategies #hiring #newopportunities

While searching and interviewing for my next role, a consistent question I get from recruiters and hiring executives is “in your opinion, what are the top issues/struggles within the Healthcare industry as a whole?” From strained resources to rapidly evolving technology, healthcare professionals are navigating a landscape fraught with obstacles. Here are some key struggles that I have identified… feel free to add to the list! 1. Resource Allocation I.e Burn Out: Healthcare providers are constantly battling resource shortages, from personnel (burn out) to equipment. The strain on healthcare workers is deep as they work tirelessly to provide care amidst these limitations. 2. Costs and Affordability: The rising costs of healthcare are putting immense pressure on patients and providers alike. Access to affordable care remains a critical issue, with many individuals struggling to afford even basic services, especially preventive care and managing of chronic conditions. 3. Technological Integration: While technology has the potential to revolutionize healthcare, its integration into existing systems often presents significant challenges. From interoperability issues to data security concerns, there's a pressing need for streamlined solutions. 4. Patient Care and Experience: Delivering quality care while managing increasing patient volumes is complicated and burdensome. Healthcare professionals are striving to maintain high standards of care (quality) amidst time constraints and administrative burdens. 5. Regulatory Complexity: Navigating the maze of healthcare regulations adds another layer of complexity to an already challenging environment. Navigating the Federal/State healthcare regulations can be cumbersome, but when you include prior auths, drug approvals and other regulatory compliance requirements by payors and plan sponsors, the process can be overwhelming and expensive, diverting resources from patient care. Despite these challenges, healthcare professionals continue to demonstrate resilience and dedication in their pursuit of better patient outcomes. It's time for stakeholders across the industry to come together, innovate, and drive meaningful change. Together, we can overcome these obstacles and build a healthcare system that truly serves all. 💪💉 #HealthcareStruggles #Innovation #PatientCare #opentowork #healthcare
